About Violin LessonsStudents are accepted at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Myanna appreciates the tremendous value of beginning students. She eagerly undertakes the task of introducing each student to his or her instrument. Likewise, she is excited to help intermediate and advanced students continue their studies and achieve their full potential as musicians.
Preparing For Your First LessonBring your instrument, bow, and some music you have learned, such as school orchestra music or a solo you have learned with your last teacher.
Bring all of the methods, study books, and repertoire you have studied in the last year to the first lesson, as well as a list of music you have studied in the past. Bring a regular size spiral notebook for lesson assignments. A partially-used old school notebook is fine! Lessons are not formal and they aren't intimidating. Learning an instrument is one of the most rewarding activities you can undertake - and we love teaching! |
