Oak Lane Summer Chamber Music Festival

Come play music together!

For first-year, intermediate, and advanced violin, viola, and cello students through age 18.

Times

Session 1: 4:45-5:45 (for grades 2-4, 5-8)
Session 2: 6:00-7:00 (for grades 5-8, 9-12)
Session 3: 7:15-8:15 (for grades 9-12)

Program Description

Monday through Friday, from June 15 through June 25, violin, viola, cello, and bass students will meet to rehearse in small groups with coaches Myanna and Cassia Harvey, as well as several guest coaches (to be announced.)

Students will have the opportunity to work on technique and musicianship in a chamber setting and study one or two specific works for the duration of the program.

Light snacks will be provided between rehearsal sessions. The program will conclude with a concert on the evening of June 25.

Fees

Sign up for one session at $125 per student.
Sign up for two sessions for only $200 per student (different music is learned in each session.)
Refer a friend (they must list you on their sign-up form) and we will refund $30!

Space is limited and the chamber groups are open on a first come, first served basis.

Students will be placed in groups according to age and the needs of each group.

Groups will be determined after all students have enrolled.

Missing more than one rehearsal may result in dismissal from the group.

Please note: Because every part is vital in a chamber group, concert attendance is mandatory for all students.
